If you’re preparing for construction to permanent financing, you will need to complete the following steps:

  • Step one: Have the initial discussion about your home-lending needs
  • Step two: Apply for financing
  • Step three: Submit your construction contract and plans
  • Step four: Submit your loan request for approval
  • Step five: Order an appraisal
  • Step six: Close the loan
  • Step seven: Draw the construction schedule
  • Step eight: Structure permanent financing
